TransFamilies is a parent-facilitated, culturally inclusive group. Together we share specialized knowledge and personal experiences addressing the unique challenges we face supporting our extraordinary gender diverse children of every age. TransFamilies is not a hotline, but we are available via phone or email to answer questions or provide support in between meetings.
TransFamilies has two monthly meetings available. We meet the first Saturday of every month, 3-5 PM, in Santa Cruz, CA, and the third Saturday of every month, 3-5 PM, in Marina, CA. The “Local Resources” page of our blog website provides the most current details regarding meeting locations and contact information.
In addition to meetings, email communication, and phone calls, TransFamilies maintains 3 secret Facebook groups and a closed Yahoo Group for members to interact in private space. Contact TransFamilies with requests to join any or all of our social media groups. Subscribe to our blog at www.TransFamiliesCA.org.
TransFamilies coordinate playgroups and other social gatherings exclusively for our membership.
We know the topics discussed in our groups and gatherings are private and personal. Our members agree to maintain the confidentiality and anonymity of other members and their families. TransFamilies will not divulge personal information, and we do not publicly share the specific locations of our family gatherings.
